Are you aware of all the properties of mushrooms and want to cook them in an easy and healthy way? Read on and take note! We leave you a couple of recipes that you can make to enjoy the flavor and benefits of mushrooms.

 Properties of mushrooms:

  • Low in calories and fat.
  • Like vegetables: 90% water. The rest are from carbohydrates, fiber, and protein.
  • High mineral content: phosphorus, potassium, and iron.
  • Vitamins B (B2 and B3), C, A, and vitamin D precursors.
  • They contain beta-glucans.


Recipes to enjoy the flavor and properties of mushrooms:

VEGETABLE MUSHROOM PATÉ
Easy, good, and fast. There are many variations and ways to make and use this recipe. You can add vinegar, nuts, or present it with whole wheat bread, rice toasts, etc. Enjoy this gift of nature in the way that you like the most!

Ingredients

Preparation
Assorted mushrooms (200-300g)

Onion (1 unit)

Garlic (1 clove)

Parsley leaves

Olive oil

Ground black pepper

  1. Clean and cut the mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Mix them up.
  2. Add the mixture to a pan with a little olive oil until it softens.
  3. Mash the cooked mixture together with the chopped parsley and pepper to taste. If the texture is too thick, you can add one more tablespoon of oil or water.
  4. Let stand and... ready to serve!

Recommendation: Store the paté in a glass container and keep it in the fridge.

 

VEGETABLE MUSHROOM AND POTATO STEW

 Ingredients Preparation

Assorted mushrooms (300g)

Vegetable soup

Onion (1unit)

Dried tomatoes (2 units)

Dried pepper (1 unit)

Bay leaves (2)

Garlic (1 clove)

Parsley leaves

Turmeric

Ground black pepper

Potatoes for cooking

Olive oil

  1. Moisturize the bell pepper and tomatoes with water. Dice the potatoes and chop the parsley leaves and onion. Clean the mushrooms and divide the larger ones in half.


  2. Cook the onion in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil. Add the potatoes, garlic, chopped parsley leaves, bell pepper and hydrated tomatoes. Mix the ingredients.

  3. Add the mushrooms and the vegetable broth. Let cook 10 '.

  4. Add a pinch of turmeric, pepper, and bay leaves to taste. Cover the pan and cook over low heat.

  5. Chill and enjoy this exquisite dish!
